Nehoiden Golf Club is owned by Wellesley College, and was recently ranked one of the Top 25 Finest Nines in the U.S.

In 2018, Nehoiden will celebrate its 125th birthday, making it one of the oldest golf courses in the country.

Nehoiden was founded by women, for women — originally the wife of a wealthy Wellesley businessman could not find a place to play golf — all the local clubs were for “Men Only.” So what did she do? She carved out a 3-hole course where she could play golf. Now that 3-hole layout has evolved to being one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the country.
